A few home projects

Posted: August 22, 2014 in Uncategorized

Hi. Ive done a few home projects in the last few days. The first an old weathered unwanted pine coffee table that I prepped painted white and spot sanded all around to give it that country rustic look. The second a small timber table that looked like it was put together with scrap wood. It was on the sidewalk so I brought it home, some wood glue a light sand and painted it white. I then sourced some images, cut out stencils and decorated it with paint splatters and the stencil images to give it that street grunge look.

It looked good but was missing something. I then sourced some scrap timber and put a bottom shelf on it to finish it off.

Plastic wrapped trees.

Hey peeps. Check out my canvas page for a couple of newbies Ive done recently. I’ve trekked into the woods and plastic wrapped two trees and painted the wrap. Good clean fun and don’t worry after photos were taken I cut it down rolled it up and disposed of it properly. I hate littering.
Hope you dig them.

Hi folks. I received a call today from a previous client Steve from Cat City cattery in Alexandria. He wanted another bunch of funky crazy cats painted on the back of the premises.
Of course I gladly obliged. I was happy for the return business.

It was a blast. Thanks Steve and thanks Cat City…where happy cats stay!

Bondi Beach Stylin.

Posted: July 28, 2014 in Uncategorized

Hey people. After a few weeks of cloudy, cold weather I finally got downb to Bondi Beach again this weekend. I took out a double section with my old comrade Devel. The sun was shining and I think we had the biggest audience of onlookers consistently throughout the application. Its always good to see interested bystanders and to get good feedback and questions from the general public.
Check out the WALLS page for the new uploaded pic.
Have a great week!

Hi Folks.

The  Cure Brain Cancer Foundation recently held The Mad Hatters Ball. A fundraiser to raise money for the research to find a cure for brain cancer. The event was a great success with over 1 million in money raised for the cause. I donated a canvas to be part of their silent auction and it sold for just under $500.  It was a pleasure to have been a part of such a great cause and I’m thrilled that my work was appreciatively purchased on the night.
